Kate creates figures that promote body neutrality, body positivity, and body acceptance. The people in her pictures are often depicted as women who are in love, in nature, and in a state of relaxation. Kate often paints people of color, especially Black people of color in a state of bliss and surrounded by nature. These types of visions are ones she hopes will be a normal part of reality soon to come.
